Former President Olusegun Obasanjo said the
over 200 girls abducted by Boko Haram in
Chibok, Borno State may never be found because
their whereabout is unknown.
He stated this on Friday, February 5 while
fielding questions during the Seventh Roundtable
with Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, a programme
organised by Obafemi Awolowo University Staff
“The search for the abducted Chibok girls may
not be fruitful. Nobody can bring back the girls
because they are nowhere to be found.” he said.
Obasanjo blamed former President Goodluck
Jonathan for ignoring the distress call to rescue
the girls on the day they were abducted.
