Lagbaja, Emma Nyra Voice Out On Rape
As rape cases continue to rise in the country, more Nigerian celebrities are speaking out against the criminal act.
Legendary act Lagbaja, and Emma Nyra, shared their two cents as regards the issue.
While Lagbaja says the future will catch up with anybody who has raped in the past. Emma Nyara on the other hand, offered a helping hand to anybody who is willing to speak out.
“Hmmmm, I can’t believe in this 2020 people still do evil things like this. It is wrong, it is WRONG. If you did it in the past it would hunt your future, smh!,” Lagbaja wrote.
“If there are any victims of abuse who do not have the courage or strength to speak up please get in contact with me and I will assist you as best as I can. I will always offer my help to you as best as I can. We are survivors and we are stronger together,” Emma Nyra twitted.
If we as a society do not come to the aid of women who have been preyed upon and taken advantage of, then how can we expect them to have the courage to speak up?! It’s high time that any victims of Rape or abuse are treated accordingly and as a victim of heinous crimes.
